Gujarat is leading in industry & cooperative sectors in country: CM Mr. Vijaybhai Rupani
Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Vijaybhai Rupani today categorically stated that in the entire nation, Gujarat is the only state that has accomplished double pride by taking lead in both, industry and cooperative sectors.
The Chief Minister was speaking at a Golden Jubilee Celebration Function of The Idar Nagarik Cooperative Bank held in Idar town in Sabarkantha district. The bank was established in 1969. Now, with 16,580 members and share capital of 262 lakh the bank is offering digital banking services. He also dedicated newly built Judo Hall in Sir Prabhat High School, at a cost of Rs. 50-lakh, to the people at Idar town.
Taking a dig at the past governments of the Congress, Mr. Rupani stated that then the cooperative banks were making bankruptcy. But, now the BJP government has created an atmosphere of transparency and trust resulting into rebuilding of faith among the people in cooperative banks.
The Chief Minister also pointed out that the ‘Vibrant Gujarat’ series has provided “global platform” to investors from across the world.
Others who spoke on the occasion included water supply and in-charge of Sabarkantha district Mr. Parbatbhai Patel, former Gujarat Assembly speaker Mr. Ramanlal Vora, Member of Parliament Mr. Dipsinh Rathod, Idar Cooperative Bank Chairman Mr. Tarachand Soni, P. Pu Acharya Shree Jaysagar Maharaj and others.
The event was also graced by minister of state for cooperation Mr. Ishwarbhai Patel, Nagarpalika President Mr. Jaswantkumar, MLA Mr. Hitubhai Kanodiya, and others.
