Guj CM dedicate newly built Gir Somnath District Panchayat Bhawan and District Police Bhawan at Gir Somnath
Chief Minister Mr. Vijaybhai Rupani today categorically stated that through people oriented good governance, Gujarat would provide a new direction to fulfil the envisaged image of ‘New India’.
Gujarat’s public administration has become modernised and corruption free, transparent, and people oriented services are being made available at the rapid speed, he added.
The Chief Minister was speaking at public function organized to dedicate newly built Gir Somnath District Panchayat Bhawan and District Police Bhawan, built in total at the cost of Rs. 44-crore, at Gir Somnath. The Gir Somnath district was formulated by Prime Minister Mr. Narendrabhai Modi in year-2013 when he was chief minister of the state.
Welcoming the abrogation of the Article 370 in Kashmir by Prime Minister Mr. Narendrabhai Modi and Union Home Minister Mr. Amit Shah, Mr. Rupani categorically stated that this has fulfilled the dream of ‘Indivisible India’ envisaged by Sardar Saheb.
Those who spoke on the occasion included Gujarat Panchayat Minister Mr. Jaydrathsinh Parmar and district development officer Mr. Dharmendrasinh Rahevar.
Mr. Rupani and his ministerial colleagues also participated in the tree plantation programme at Prempara village in Visavadar tehsil of Junagadh district.
The event was graced by Gir Somnath District In-charge Minister and Food & Civil Supply Minister Mr. Jayeshbhai Radadiya, Gujarat Home Minister Mr. Pradeepsinh Jadeja, Member of Parliament Mr. Rajeshbhai Chudasama, and others.
