Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel's significant decision to support pilgrimage sites

Gujarat, 13 December 2023: CM Shri Bhupendra Patel has granted preliminary approval to a proposal for projects worth Rs 97.32 crore. These initiatives involve the implementation of water supply, underground drainage, and solid waste management works in the villages encompassed by the Area Development Authority of the Holy Pilgrimage Ambaji.
The Ambaji Area Development and Pilgrimage Tourism Regulatory Authority encompasses eight villages, namely Ambaji, Zarivav, Chikhla, Jetvas, Panchha, Rinchhadi, Koteshwar, and Kumbhariya in the Danta Taluka of Banaskantha District.
The comprehensive report, compiled by the Ambaji Area Development and Pilgrimage Tourism Regulatory Authority for water supply, underground drainage, and waste disposal operations, received approval during the authority's board meeting. Thereafter, the endorsed report was submitted to the state government. In response, the Chief Minister provided preliminary approval for projects amounting to Rs. 97.32 crore in this regard.
Due to the ongoing development of tourist amenities and attractions in Ambaji, a growing number of visitors, both domestic and international, are visiting the pilgrimage destination. The ongoing development initiatives in Ambaji and the surrounding villages will not only ensure cleanliness but also enhance the overall comfort of the visiting tourists.
