GoG will present extensive work done in five years for public service-public interest

Under “Panch Varsh Apni Sarkarna- Sauna Sath Sauna Vikas” various programs of developmental works of public service-public interest-public welfare will be held across the state

 

Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi on 3rd August will distribute 5 kg food grain kits per person free of cost to 4.25 lakh poor Antyodaya families under ‘Annotsav’ from 17,000 Pandit Dindayal Upadhyay consumer stores.

Union Home Minister Mr. Amit Shah will launch the ‘Vatan Prem’ Yojana on 7th August and will inaugurate major project worth Rs. 3906 crore.

Gandhinagar, Thursday:  Various programs- developmental works of public service- public interest- public welfare will be held across the state under “Panch Varsh Apni Sarkarna- Sauna Sath Sauna Vikas” to mark the completion of five years of Good Governance of state government led by Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Rupani and Deputy Chief Minsiter Mr. Nitin Patel. Instead of celebrating the completion of five years, GoG will present extensive works done in five years for public service – public interest.

The State Government is planning these public interest oriented programs to accelerate the uninterrupted development journey of the state through various programs across the state to expand the scope of various public interest oriented flagship schemes on the occasion of five years of good governance.

The event will be held in full compliance with the Covid-19 guidelines.  On 1st August Gyanshakti Divas, 2nd August Samvedana Divas, 3rd August Annotsav Divas, 4th August Nari Gaurav Divas, 5th August Kisan Sanman Divas, 6th August Rojgar Divas, 7th August Vikas Divas, 8th August Shehri Jansukhakari Divas and 9th August Vishwa Adivasi Divas will be celebrated.

On 3rd August, Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi will virtually attend the “Annotsav Divas” program organised under “Sarvne Ann, Sarvne Poshan”. He will distribute 5 kg food grain kits per person free of cost to 4.25 lakh poor Antyodaya families from 17,000 government approved fair price shops. Chief Minister and Minister for Food and Civil Supplies Mr. Jayeshbhai Radadia will also join the state level program from Dahod. PM will interact directly with the beneficiaries at five fair price shops in five districts. In addition, under NFSA, approx. 72 lakh families (population of 3.5 crore) will be provided five kg of foodgrains and bags per person. Around 8 lakh 50 thousand people will participate in the entire program.

On 1st August, “Gyanshakti Divas” will be celebrated under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Rupani and in the presence of Education Minister Mr. Bhupendrasinh Chudasama, various programs will be held at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar. A total of 151 programs will be held in the state, including 100 primary and secondary schools and 51 higher education programs. Apart from this, 12 thousand smart classes prepared in 3659 schools at a cost of Rs. 135 crore under Gyankunj project will also be inaugurated. 1050 school rooms constructed at a cost of Rs 95 crore, 71 panchayat houses constructed at a cost of Rs 10 crore 26 lakh, Dholka and Navsari taluka panchayat houses constructed at a cost of Rs. 4 crore 80 lakh will also be inaugurated. Computer labs will also be inaugurated in 256 secondary schools constructed at a cost of Rs 35 crore. Scholarships to 1000 PhD students under Shodh Yojana, distribution of aid for higher education to 2008 students under Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana as well as distribution of Namo e-tablet will also be organized. Under the Student Startup and Innovation Policy, MoUs will be signed with 16 colleges and universities in the state which will benefit 18670 students. Apart from this, ground breaking ceremony will also be organized for construction of various 647 school rooms in the state at a cost of Rs 58 crore and 144 panchayat houses at a cost of Rs 2076 crore.

On 2nd August, “Samvedana Divas” will be celebrated in the presence of Chief Minister and Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Shri Ishwarbhai Parmar in Rajkot. As many as 433 Seva Setu programs are planned in talukas, municipalities and municipal corporations to make documents of various public welfare schemes easily available to the citizens. 29 Seva Setu programs will be held in 248 talukas and 156 municipalities as well as at the municipal level in one ward per zone in the state. various benefits will be given to small, common class, poor, deprived people, the disabled, the elderly and the orphans who have lost their families in corona. According to which 4941 children will be given assistance of Rs 1.18 crore. A scheme to assist in education will be launched for the children who have lost their parents due to covid-19 with joint venture between the Department of Social Welfare and JM Financial Group.

On 4th August, “Nari Gaurav Divas” will be celebrated in the presence of Chief Minister and Minister of State for Women and Child Welfare Vibhavariben Dave. Various women oriented programs for honouring and uplifting the women of the state will be launched from Vadodara. State government will provide a total of Rs. 100 crore without interest to 1 lakh women’s from 10,000 association in the state under the Mukhyamantri Mahila Utkarsh Yojana. In which 38 in urban area and 70 in rural area together a total of 108 women upliftment programs will be organized. 5000 in urban areas and 5000 in rural areas thus a total of more than 10 thousand Sakhi Mandals will participate in this program. Besides, 200 Anganwadi houses will be dedicated as well ground breaking ceremony of 143 Anganwadi houses will be performed. Sakhi One Stop Centers will be inaugurated at Lunawada and Navsari and the ground breaking will be performed at Modasa, Himmatnagar and Gandhinagar.

On 5th August, “Kisan Sanman Divas” will be celebrated in the presence of Chief Minister and Agriculture Minister Mr.  R. C. Faldu. As many as 125 different programs will be launched from Kutch across the state under Kisan Suryodaya Yojana and Saat Pagla Khedut Kalyan Yojana. In these programs, assistance will be distributed to the beneficiaries under Kisan Parivahan Yojana, Gay Nibhav Yojana, Chhatri Yojana, Tarni Wad Yojana, Smart Hand Tool Kit Yojana. Apart from this, about 118000 farmers from 1400 villages will get the benefit of Kisan Suryodaya Yojana through 121 sub stations as well as 561 feeders. In addition, the ground breaking of the Seed Corporation Godown to be built at a cost of Rs. 80 crore will be performed.

On 6th August, “Rojgar Divas” will be celebrated in the presence of Chief Minister, Energy Minister Mr. Saurabhbhai Patel and BJP State President Mr. C. R. Patil. With the objective of providing employment to the youth of the state, various employment opportunities programs including about 50 employment fairs in all the districts and corporation areas will be launched from Surat. In the difficult times of coronavirus also, the state government has maintained the pace of developmental works and completed the employment process, appointment letters of which will be handed over. Appointment letters will be issued to approximately 50,000 youths including appointed education assistants, nurses and those appointed under other departments and board corporations. On this day, ‘Anubandham Rozgar’ portal will also be launched by CM Mr. Vijay Rupani.

On 7th August, Home Minister of India Mr. Amit Shah will be virtually present on ‘Vikas Divas’ and inaugurate, lay foundation stones of and dedicate various developmental works in presence of CM Mr. Vijay Rupani, Dy. CM Mr. Nitin Patel and State President Mr. C. R. Patil from Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar. Mr. Shah will also launch “Vatan Prem” scheme on ‘Vikas Divas’. Under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Rural, 25,000 houses of worth Rs. 382 crores will be dedicated and foundation of 46,000 houses of worth Rs. 703 crores will be laid. Various works of ITI of worth Rs. 245 crores will be dedicated. On ‘Vikas Divas’, the ceremony of dedicating Piyaj-Unad pipeline costing Rs. 489 crores from Mehsana, dedicating newly constructed bridge of Deesa National Highway costing Rs. 464 crores, and draw/dedicating/laying foundation stones of 5170 houses of worth Rs. 323 crores, constructed under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and Shehri Awas Yojana (EWS/LIG included), will be concluded. GEB’s 21 sub-stations will be dedicated and foundation stones of 8 sub-stations will be laid, costing Rs. 286 crores. Also, pipeline from Dhandhusan to Red Laxmipura costing Rs. 265 crores will be dedicated.  On this day, 151 buses, 5 bus stations and a divisional office costing total Rs. 255 crores will be dedicated. At a cost of Rs. 153 crores, ground breaking ceremony of converting Bagodra, Dhandhuka, Vallabhipur, Bhavnagar roads into four-lane roads will be performed. Under Sauni Yojana, a 53.532 km pipeline between Vikadiya to Bor Talav (Bhavnagar) costing Rs. 146 crores, a Bhasariya – Mehsana pipeline costing Rs. 97 crores will be dedicated while foundation stone of a pipeline from Matpur to Brahmanwada costing Rs. 75 crores will be laid. Also, two bridges between Gandhinagar-Ahmedabad costing Rs. 23 crores will be dedicated.  Thus, total works of Rs. 3906 crores will be dedicated and laid foundation stones of. A total of 41 programs will be held on ‘Vikas Divas’, consisting 1 per district and 1 per municipal corporation. In addition, programs of dedicating and laying foundation stones will be held in the presence of dignitaries at respective venues.

On 7th August, on the occasion of ‘Vikas Divas’, CM Mr. Vijay Rupani and Dy CM Mr. Nitin Patel will participate in a health wellness program in Himmatnagar. The best performing Corona Warriors will be honoured on the occasion. 115 PSA Oxygen Plants of 81 MT capacity will be inaugurated and the Sarpanches of 1000 villages which are 100% vaccinated will be honoured. On this occasion, 71 works of the health department will be dedicated and laid foundation stones of. Of those, 10 Community Health Centres, 22 Primary Health Centres and 18 Sub-Centres constructed at a cost of Rs. 58 crores will be dedicated and foundation stones of 2 primary health centres and 19 sub-centres of a cost of Rs. 70 crores will be laid.

On 8th August, on the occasion of ‘Shehri Jan Sukhakari Divas’, in the presence of Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Rupani and Minister of State for Home Affairs Mr. Pradipsinh Jadeja, the works of Rs. 5855 crores will be dedicated, laid foundation stones of and distributed as assistance. Gujarat Municipal Finance Board will distribute cheques of Rs. 1000 crores to 8 Municipal Corporations and 156 Municipalities of the state to intensify ‘Shehri Jan Sukhakari’ system. Gujarat Municipal Finance Board and Gujarat Urban Development Mission will dedicate and lay foundation stones of 551 works worth Rs 1388 crores. The in-principle approval of Rs 3,000 crores to Ahmedabad by the World Bank, the grant of Rs. 328 crores by Asian Development Project for Rajkot’s Water Supply Project, water supply projects in municipalities worth Rs. 100 crore and Rs. 38 crores to Green city Surat will be paid. On this day, a total of 40 programs will be held – 8 in Municipal Corporations and 32 in districts of the state.

On 9th August, under ‘Vishwa Adivasi Divas’, various programs will be organized in 53 tribal talukas all over Gujarat. CM Mr. Rupani and Forest Minister Mr. Ganpatsinh Vasava will inaugurate the program from Rajpipla (Narmada). On ‘Vishwa Adivasi Divas’, five lakh students will be given Rs. 80 crores under Pre matric scholarship. The foundation stone of Birsa Munda Adivasi University will be laid. Orders will be issued for 2000 houses under Halpati Awas Yojana and 1000 houses under other Awas Yojana. An assistance of Rs. 56 crores will be distributed to a total of 20,000 beneficiaries of ‘Vyaktigat Yojana’. Dedication of 149 works costing Rs. 355 crores and foundation stones of 37 works worth Rs. 462 crores will be laid. Thus, tribal people will get the benefit of development works worth a total of Rs. 817 crores.

Various district-taluka centres of the state during these programs will be attended by the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, Ministers of State Cabinet, MPs, MLAs, office bearers as well as District-Taluka Panchayat Presidents, Mayors of metros, Chairmen of Board Corporations.
