CM attends 65 thousand tree planting program at one place through Miyawaki technique organised by AMC

    Gandhinagar, Sunday:  Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Rupani applauded the abhiyan “Mission Million Tree” taken on hands by Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation and said that tree planting was essential for sustainable development based on the demands of the time.  Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation is giving a positive message of conservation of nature by carrying out such abhiyan.

    Mr. Rupani also said that the government will also launch a campaign to plant 10 crore trees across the state.

    A program of “Shaheri Jan Sukhakari Divas” was organized in Ahmedabad today to mark the successful completion of five years of good governance of the state government under the leadership of Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Rupani & Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Nitin Patel. Following which 65000 trees will be planted simultaneously in Smritivan located in Gota area of ​​Ahmedabad city through Miyawaki technique. CM expressed his feeling for conservation of nature by planting trees today.

    State Government is moving towards sustainable development towards the goal of Green Gujarat and Clean Gujarat. Government has undertaken various activities across the state such as preservation of environment and maximum tree planting and conservation of trees.

    CM said that the state government has undertaken strong planning and management for clean water, clean environment and a pollution free city.

    Minister of State for Home Department Mr. Pradipsinh Jadeja, Ahmedabad Mayor Mr. Kiritbhai Parmar, Standing Committee Chairman Mr. Hitesh Barot, MLA Mr. Bhupendrabhai Patel, Party Leader Mr. Bhaskarabhai Bhatt and other officials remained present.
