‘Asia’s Biggest Tourism Award 2022’ held in the presence of CM

    Gandhinagar, Monday: ‘Asia’s Biggest Tourism Award 2022’ was organized at Ahmedabad Science City in the presence of Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel today.

    Congratulating the award winners on the occasion, Mr. Patel said that, tourism sector was hit hard during the COVID-19 pandemic, but now it is time to see happiness for this sector. He added that the growth of tourism in Gujarat was 1.25 per cent two decades ago. Under the continuous guidance and efforts of the then Chief Minister and the present Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, today this growth has reached to 18%. Gujarat has developed in every field, tourism sector is also making steady progress.

    Today, people from all over the world are coming to Gujarat directly and that is only due to the efforts of our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Since Modiji has started the politics of development, Gujarat has become the growth engine of the entire nation, said CM.

    Today, when the country is celebrating Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav, we are all going to make the dreams of Shri Narendra Modi come true.

    Deputy Mayor Shri Gitaben Patel, DGP Shri Ashish Bhatia, Secretary to the Department of Science and Technology Shri Vijay Nehra, Secretary of Gujarat Tourism Shri Harit Shukla, I.A.S. Shri Alok Pandey, BSF I.G. G.S. Malik as well as dignitaries associated with the tour operators and the travels industry graced the occasion.
