Gandhinagar, Tuesday: Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel and Minister of State for Home Affairs Shri Harsh Sanghvi personally visited Beyt Dwarka, which is important in terms of maritime security, and inspected the work done so far to stop illegal activities.
The Chief Minister and the Minister of State for Home also inspected security concerns on the 1600 km coastline of Gujarat and actions taken so far by the Police-Revenue Department in those areas.
During this visit from Okha – Beyt Dwarka, he also inspected the work of Signature bridge under construction which is also a dream project of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. The Chief Minister said that the work of Signature bridge will be completed soon.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister said, The state government is determined to further strengthen the strong foundation of security, peace and safety established by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in Gujarat. Illegal activities hindering developmental works will be prevented from further spreading and will be dealt strictly under the law. The government is committed towards the safety and security of the people and the campaign to curb such illegal activities will continue, he said.
The aim of government behind such action is that the people residing in remote areas can have easy access to the benefits of government schemes without facing any hassle. He added.
The Chief Minister further said that, No illegal activity will be allowed to carry out on the 1600 km long coastline of Gujarat. Government is determined to protect such areas.
During this visit, Minister of State for Home Shri Harsh Sanghvi said, Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel, strict measures are being taken for the internal and external safety and security of the coastal areas. No illegal activities are being encouraged keeping in mind the public interest strict actions are being taken to curb such activities from spreading further.
MLA Shri Pabubha Manek, Director General of Police Shri Vikas Sahay, District Collector Shri MA Pandya, Superintendent of Police Shri Nitish Kumar, District BJP President Shri Mayur Gadhvi, Mahamantri Shr Yuvraj Singh Vadher etc. were present.
