Chief Minister attends 115th birth anniversary celebration of Saint Shri Sadaram Bapu

Gandhinagar, Tuesday: Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel attends the 115th birth anniversary celebration of revered Saint Shree Sadaram Bapu of Banaskantha organised at Deodar.

On this occasion CM said that, Sant Shree Sadaram Bapu has done a lot of service work for the one’s who are addicted and to prevent violence through increasing the scope of education. Sant Shree Sadaram Bapu through his Bhajan Satsang has made lakhs of people free from addiction. Bapu’s simple living was his message of life for others. Speaking about Bapu’s life CM said that, his motto of life was to bring people out from the troubles and sufferings. Understanding the fact that addictions can ruin a person and a family, Pujya Bapu has worked not for any one particular caste but for the development of the whole society.  CM urged to take inspiration from the life of such saints and move forward.

Our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has given us a new direction of self-reliant India, let us make Gujarat self-reliant by following the path he has set.

On this occasion Minister of state for Education Shri Kirtisinh Vaghela said that, even though he is not with us today, his teachings and blessings are always with us. Throughout North of Gujarat, Bapu has done a great job of social reform along with his bhajan and bhakti. More than seven decades of his life were spent in eradicating the strap of addiction that pervaded society due to lack of education.

President of Gujarat Kshatriya Thakor Sena Shri Alpesh Thakor present on this occasion said that, the inspiration to run a de-addiction campaign comes from our Sant Shree Sadaram Bapu. In addition to it he said that, I pray that entire society unite together through the spirit of religion and brotherhood. He further informed that, works of Rs.100 crore have been sanctioned by CM for Vav and Bhabhar areas. He also expressed his gratitude towards CM for giving the permission to allow the water of Narmada river to reach each and every part of the land.

CM attended Shree Sadaram Bapu’s Aarti. On this occasion State BJP General Secretary Shri Rajni Patel, Banas Dairy Chairman Shri Shankar Chaudhary, Former Minister Shri Dharmendrasinh Jadeja, dignitaries of Thakor community, Collector Shri Anand Patel, District Development Officer Shri Swapnil Khare and people in large numbers were present.
