Chief Minister attends Annual Sneh Milan of Shri Kutchi Jain Seva Samaj in Ahmedabad

Gandhinagar, Sunday: Annual Sneh Milan of Shri Kutch Jain Seva Samaj, Ahmedabad was held today at Tagore Hall, Ahmedabad in the presence of Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel. The Speaker of Gujarat Legislative Assembly Smt. Nima Acharya was also present in the meeting.

Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel said that the Kutchi Jain Seva Samaj is realizing the mantra of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi of ‘Sauno Saath, Sauno Vikas, Sauno Vishwas, Sauna Prayas’ through its public service works.

Our Prime Minister Shri Narendra has always been working to bring the marginalized people into the mainstream and in the same way Kutchi Jain Seva Samaj has also been working for the upliftment of the society with similar service activities. People who do service keep the flame of service burning even in the face of any kind of challenges. Kutch Jain Seva Samaj is one such society, he added.

The Chief Minister further said that today the development journey of Gujarat is moving forward with the double engine government. After many struggles of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Narmada water has been delivered to Kutch. It was through his efforts that the newly constructed Smritivan was inaugurated in Kutch. Today a hybrid plant of 30000 MW renewable energy is also taking shape in Kutch.

Smt. Nima Acharya, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, applauded the services of the society. He said that Kutchi Jain Seva Samaj has always been doing public service in the fields of health, education and livelihood. It is exemplary that Kutchi Jain Seva Samaj is going to set up Skill Development Centers to realize Skill India slogan of Hon’ble Prime Minister, he added.

Further, Smt. Nima Acharya added that the credit of the recovery of Kutch after the earthquake goes to the then Chief Minister and our current Prime Minister Narendra Modi. After the earthquake, our PM Shri Narendra Modi took the initiative to resettle Kutch and industrial development of Kutch. He resolved to make Kutch like Singapore and to make Kutch a developed district and it has really come true. Today, the fame of his dream projects like White desert and SmritiVan has spread across the world, he added.

Smt. Nima Acharya further said that no one was paying attention to Kutch’s demands. As the Chief Minister, Narendra made all the basic needs like water, roads, railway lines available to Kutch with his unique resourcefulness. He has done great work by extending the Narmada river to Kutch through 69000 km long lines.

On this occasion, a welcome speech was delivered by the President of Kutchi Jain Seva Samaj Shri Pratap Dand. Also, the book ‘Kachchi Boli Vigyan’ was released by the Chief Minister. On this occasion, the leaders and donors of Kutchi Jain Seva Samaj were felicitated by Chief Minister. Kutchi Jain Seva Samaj is going to set up medical center in Changodar, Ahmedabad and three skill centers for youth in Ahmedabad under the government’s ‘Skill India’ campaign in the coming days.

MLA Rakesh Shah, leaders of Kutchi Jain Seva Samaj, Ahmedabad, well-wishers, donors and social leaders etc. were present in large numbers.
