Leaders of Macchi and Vaadi Samaj enthusiastically greet the Chief Minister
Gandhinagar, Thursday: While addressing the Macchi and Vaadi Samaj Sneh Milan program in Gandhinagar today, Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel said that the government is empowering all by connecting each community in the mainstream of development. Thousands of fishermen-sea farmers in the state have been given Kisan credit cards as equivalent to farmers. The government has also uplifted the nomadic families of the Vaadi Samaj by providing them with permanent housing, plots and educational complexes.
Chief Minister further said in this regard that under the guidance of the Prime Minister, this government has adopted the policy of realizing ‘Antyodaya thi Sarvodaya’. This government has always been trying to ensure that the benefits of development, the benefits of government schemes reach even the most remote people.
He said that education is the first condition of all-round development. Education is very essential for the progress of any community or society. Keeping up with changing times and advancements on the business and employment front, is possible only with education. He further said that the Gujarat government has made all efforts to provide modern education to the students and youth by making timely changes in the education sector. At a time when the drop-out ratio in primary schools in Gujarat was over 35 percent, it has come down to less than three percent.
He said that the development of Gujarat under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has been made strong and dynamic. At a time when many countries were being pushed towards ruin due to Corona, the countries of the world have also taken note of the Covid management shown by the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister has saved the country from the epidemic in time by taking measures like measures to prevent Corona, vaccine-making and the world’s largest vaccination campaign.
He said that the economic management policy of Gujarat government is the best in the country as per Niti Aayog report, this year’s budget of Gujarat government is the biggest budget in the history of Gujarat. As a result of the double engine government led by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Gujarat is moving at a fast pace on the path of development.
