CM attends Prabhat Pheri-Gram Sabha-Tree Planting and School Birthday Celebrations in Sardhav of Gandhinagar

Gandhinagar, Tuesday: Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel arrived at Sardhav village in Gandhinagar district on Tuesday 12th April in the early morning on the occasion of Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav taking place in the country with the inspiration of Prime Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi.

The villagers gave a wide response to this initiative of the Chief Minister and youth as well as seniors of Sardhav had joined the Pheri this morning in large numbers. The Chief Minister went among the people on the way to Prabhat pheri and interacted with them and greeted them.

Under Azadi ka amrut Mahotsav Prime Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi has organized various public development works including Prabhat pheri in the villages, construction of village lake and felicitation of village dignitaries, retired high officials, honoring of teachers, school birthday, tree planting with public participation. Shri Bhupendra Patel met the villagers of Sardhav and took part in realising PM’s plan and vision.

Prime Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi has also inspired to cover animal health fitness in the program of celebration of Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav. The Chief Minister also visited Sardhav Animal Health Center. With the aim of taking care of the health of the animals which are the backbone of the rural economy through vaccination, intensive treatment and grooming of the animals, the Chief Minister initiated veterinary disease control vaccination in this veterinary hospital by vaccinating 1800 animals of Sardhav under the National Animal Disease Control Program and also performed Gau pujan.

Before the commencement of the prabhat pheri, Shri Bhupendra Patel performed Mangala Aarti and did Darshan in the temples including Ambaji Mata, Ranchodrai temple of Sardhav and also inaugurated a new RO plant in the village.

The Chief Minister also honored the progressive farmers of the village who have successfully adopted natural farming. Addressing the villagers on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that on the occasion of Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav, Prime Minister Shri Narendrabhai has inspired us for the celebration of development. Mahatma Gandhiji called the village the soul of India, we have given priority to all-round rural development works, he added.

He also said that Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav has become an opportunity for new consciousness for such rural development works. The Chief Minister added that the Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav now inspires us to serve the country through Live for the Nation.

“Even by saving water, electricity and petrol, we can serve the nation,” he said.

Education Minister Shri Jitubhai Vaghani said that the role model of Gujarat’s development and good governance is based on the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendrabhai and the hard work of Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel.

He also mentioned that the Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel has gifted a number of public interest decisions such as development works worth crores of rupees across the state by celebrating Good Governance Week, exempting people from affidavits for non-essential works, raising the limit of exemption given by Talati to three years.

Chief Minister also joined in the celebration of the birthday of the secondary school run by Sardhav Kelvani Uttejak Mandal by visiting the school premises and honored the alumni of the school such as senior citizens, retired teachers etc.

The Chief Minister was accompanied by MLA Shri Shambhuji Thakor, former Minister Shri Vadibhai Patel, Sarpanch Shri Kiritbhai Patel, office bearers of the organization as well as senior leaders of the village, school students and villagers in large numbers.
