Chief Minister attends the 16th Convocation Ceremony of Ganpat University

    Knowledge acquired from the university is eternal for the youth, virtues – good habits make the career bright: Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel

    4178 students awarded degrees including 28 Ph.D. students, 88 students awarded gold medal

    Gandhinagar, Thursday: While addressing the 16th Convocation Ceremony of Ganpat University in Mehsana, Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel said that the knowledge acquired from the university is a permanent benefit for the youth which always seems to work, the virtues and good habits cultivated by the youth brighten their careers. A well-educated youth builds a strong society. Graduation ceremonies are a turning point in a student’s life, he added.

    Out of 4178 students, 2958 male students and 1220 female students were awarded degrees in this graduation ceremony. 88 brilliant students of Ganpat University were honored with gold medals.

    28 students who have done special research at the University were awarded Ph.D. In total 4178 students were awarded degrees in various disciplines.

    The Chief Minister gave a mantra for a successful career and said that the youth should remain steadfast on the path of duty in any difficult situation. Work done with full devotion and dedication is also a form of national service and is essential for building a good career. The Chief Minister further said that even though the institutional education is over, we should remain lifelong students.

    Youth should have a continuous learning attitude so that they can adapt to the changing times. He added that the youth should use their knowledge for the benefit of the society and the nation. He added that the students of Ganpat University will help with their knowledge in realizing the Prime Minister’s wish to make India a world champion. The seed of Ganpat Vidyanagar, planted by Ganpat Dada, has become a banyan tree today and is teaching students the lessons of creativity along with education.

    The Chief Minister said that the new education policy will be a document of India’s bright future. Under the new education policy, engineering and medical subjects are planned to be studied in the mother tongue. The Chief Minister appealed to the youth to cooperate in nation building with the determination to make India a developed nation in the next 25 years – the Amrit Kaal of the country.

    On this occasion, the Chief Minister inaugurated the Center of Excellence and released a coffee table book on Marine Engineering Study.

    Ganpat University President, Padma Shri Ganpat Patel said that he inspired the students to use their common sense in every sphere of life and to expand your inner circle of life and build good relationships in life. He asked the students to be stronger and more determined in their lives during facing challenges and in a conflict situation.

    Chancellor of Ganpat University Dr. Mahendra Sharma said that Ganpatbhai’s tireless efforts have led to a renaissance of academic brilliance in the Mehsana region and his efforts definitely have the potential to make India a world champion once again. Raised with “right objectives” the university is committed to bring about positive change in society.

    In the 16th convocation ceremony of Ganpat University, Swami Sachidanand, Minister of Health and Higher Technical Education Shri Rushikesh Patel, MLAs Mukesh Patel, Sardar Chaudhary, Chairman APMC Unza Dinesh Patel, Vice Chancellor of National Forensic Science University of Gandhinagar Prof. Dr. Shri Jayant Vyas Founder-Chairman and Social Worker of Harikrishna Export Pvt. Ltd, a well-known diamond company of Surat, Padmashri Savji Dholakia, Donor-Principal-President of Ganpat University Padmashri Ganpat Patel (Dada), In-charge District Collector Dr. Om Prakash, District Superintendent of Police Dr. Achal Tyagi, Resident Additional Collector Shri Indrajit Singh Vala, including students, parents, invited guests, a large number of people including members of Board of Ganpat University directors, trustees, learned professors were present and made the graduation ceremony successful and meaningful.
