Chief Minister commences the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra from Ambaji, in the esteemed presence of Governor

    Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi initiated the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra from Jharkhand


    On the auspicious occasion of Bhai Bij, Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel visited the pilgrimage site Ambaji. There, he offered prayers and performed darshan to Goddess Amba, paid floral tribute to Bhagwan Birsa Munda at Chikhli, and inaugurated the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in the esteemed presence of Governor Shri Acharya Devvratji. A total of 129 chariots will traverse 14,620 villages across the state for two months, delivering essential information about government schemes to residents in remote areas.

    Simulteneously Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi also initiated the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra from Jharkhand. During this event, a pledge was made to overcome the mindset of subservience and build a Viksit Bharat by 2047.

    Addressing the gathering, the Governor conveyed New Year greetings and emphasized that to revive the overlooked history of tribals and restore the dignity and self-respect of the tribal communities, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has launched Gaurav Divas from the birthplace of Bhagwan Birsa Munda, along with the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra. He highlighted that, just as the proper functioning of every organ contributes to a person’s well-being, the education of all members of society can lead to prosperity and hasten the pace of development in the nation. The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, is dedicated to the welfare of the entire society, including the underprivileged, the marginalized, and the Dalits.

    In a historic moment for the nation, Smt Droupadi Murmu, the first tribal woman, has been elected to the highest post, elevating the pride of the tribal community. Emphasizing the inspiration drawn from the simplicity of tribal life, it was mentioned that in areas experiencing conflict worldwide, one can find solace by observing the lifestyle of tribal communities living close to nature, deriving inspiration, and achieving peace and happiness.

    The Governor highlighted the significant contribution of tribal brothers to the freedom struggle. Drawing attention to a tragic incident akin to the Jallianwala Bagh massacre in Punjab, he mentioned the unfortunate event in the tribal area of Pal-Dadhvaav and Chitariya villages in Sabarkantha district, Gujarat. Approximately 1200 tribal people lost their lives in this incident. During his tenure as Chief Minister of Gujarat, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi undertook the responsibility of acknowledging and honoring their contribution.

    Presently, under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s leadership, India is progressing to remarkable heights of development across all sectors. This progress has extended to the tribal community as well. The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra has been organized to ensure that government schemes reach the people’s doorsteps, contributing to the transformation of India into a developed nation. A robust road infrastructure has been implemented nationwide, and there is now the domestic production and export of fighter jets. The nation is currently witnessing an economic development revolution with the aim of establishing a Viksit Bharat by the year 2047, as stated by the Governor.

    The Governor emphasized that, under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India has garnered global respect, with the world holding a high regard for the nation. Presently, the country is making strides in various sectors, encompassing education, agriculture, industry, and the preservation of its ancient heritage. Asserting that India is uniquely positioned to establish global peace, he urged the assembled gathering to avail themselves of the diverse welfare schemes offered by both the Government of India and the State Government.

    The Chief Minister, extending warm wishes for Diwali and the New Year to the citizens, expressed his joy at being privileged to address the first public event of the New Year from the pilgrimage site of Ambaji and the tribal area of Danta in Banaskantha. He highlighted that the globally recognized and esteemed Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has provided the nation with a distinct path for the welfare of all tribal communities, spanning from Ambaji to Umargam, Valsad to Jharkhand, and extending even to the North-Eastern tribal areas.

    Through the implementation of the Vanabandhu Kalyan Yojana in Gujarat, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has established the groundwork for the comprehensive development of tribal communities. The Chief Minister emphasized that the Prime Minister has successfully integrated the tribal community into the mainstream of development while preserving their customs, traditions, and harmonious relationship with nature, ensuring their connection to water, land, and forests remains intact.

    The Prime Minister has initiated measures to showcase the history, identity, and heritage of the tribal community to the world through sustainable development, comprehensive upliftment of tribal areas, and instilling a sense of pride in everyone. Introducing the tradition of celebrating the birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda as Tribal Pride Day (Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas), the Prime Minister has brought immense pride to the entire tribal community.

    The Chief Minister urged everyone to join hands in fulfilling the Prime Minister’s commitment to constructing a Viksit Bharat, emphasizing the continuous efforts made by the Prime Minister for the upliftment of the tribal community. Drawing a parallel to the tribals’ significant contribution to the freedom struggle, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi appealed to them to actively participate and contribute to the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra. The Chief Minister emphasized that realizing the vision of a Viksit Bharat is only possible through the collaborative support, trust, and collective endeavors of the tribal society.

    Following the struggle for Swarajya, it is now the era to contribute to Surajya during this period of Amrit Kaal. The Chief Minister emphasized that the vision of a Viksit Bharat hinges on the welfare and development of tribals. On this significant occasion, the Governor and the Chief Minister jointly initiated the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra and distributed benefits to the beneficiaries of various schemes.

    The event was attended by Minister-in-charge Shri Balvantsinh Rajput, Tribal Development Minister Dr. Kuber Dindor, Minister of State Shri Bachu Khabad, Lok Sabha MP Shri Parbat Patel, Rajya Sabha MP Shri Babu Desai, MLAs Shri Keshaji Chauhan, Shri Aniket Thaker, Shri Mavji Desai, In-charge of the organization Shri Jayanti Kawadia, President Shri Kirtisinh Vaghela, Former Minister Shri Hari Chaudhary, Former MP Shri Dinesh Anawadia, Former MLA Shri Mani Vaghela, Secretary to the Government of India Smt. Varsha Joshi, Principal Secretary Smt.
