Gandhinagar, Wednesday: Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel has given an important gift of Rs. 40.36 crore to the Ahmedabad metropolis and AUDA area at the very beginning after having taken the oath of office by his new government, which has received huge public support in the recently concluded assembly elections.
Chief Minister inaugurated newly constructed underpass by AUDA(Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority) at Vaishno Devi junction on SP(Sardar Patel) Ring Road.
Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel proudly commemorated the fact that the first public program of his new government was held in the premises of Sardardham. The Chief Minister also expressed commitment that this government will always work hard to solve the problems of the people by giving priority to them.
In this context he further said that, the development work we have carried out under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, is clearly reflecting in the results of recent elections.
With such a wide population base, the responsibility of the government also increases. Thus from today we have started to make sure that the trust that have been placed by the people of Gujarat on us, we keep strengthening it more and more in the years to come.
The Chief Minister said that the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has established a system in which elections can be won only through the politics of development. With the aim of ‘Sauna Saath,Sauna Vikas’ we must take the lead by building a developed Gujarat with an aim to make India a developed nation.
He said that the launch of this development work in the parliamentary constituency of Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah is a matter of special joy. The Union Home Minister has set his aim to make his parliamentary constituency as the best and most developed constituency in India.
Despite the responsibility of the entire country as the Union Home Minister of the country, Shri Amit Shah never forgets his responsibility as a public servant. He added.
On this occasion, AUDA Chairman Shri M. Thennarasan gave the details of this newly constructed underpass in his welcome speech and said, The length of this underpass constructed at a cost of Rs. 40.36 crores is 720 meters and width is 23 meters (6 lanes) (11×2 meter carriage way).
The RCC wall of underpass has a length of 536 meter(268 mete + 268 meter) while the length of the RCC box is 70 meter.
