Chief Minister gifts developmental works worth ₹91 crores to Mehsana

    E-launch of 4-lane highway connecting Mehsana-Modhera and Taluka Seva Sadan at Jotana

    Gandhinagar, 9th June 2023: Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel inaugurated developmental projects worth 91 crores in the Mehsana district. The projects include a four-lane state highway from Mehsana to Modhera and the newly constructed Taluka Seva Kendra in Jotana. Construction of a 20 km long four-lane highway connecting Mehsana to Modhera was completed at a cost of ₹77 crores and Jotana Taluka Seva Sadan was built at a cost of ₹14 crores.

    In his address, Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel said that Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi keeps people and their interests at the center of all developmental works. He added that Good Governance has been given a new lens across the country under his leadership. He hailed pride in the establishment of a multi-level hospital in Aatkot village of Rajkot district.
    The state government has provided district-level and village-level facilities, including well-planned infrastructure, road networks, 24/7 electricity, and access to clean water. Hon’ble Chief Minister added that Gujarat has become a model state for excellence in various fields such as education and healthcare.

    He stated that the distinction between government and private offices has been diminished in current times. At the district and taluka levels, modern government offices are being established. Various amenities are being provided in government offices for the convenience and well-being of the people.

    On this auspicious occasion, former Deputy Chief Minister Shri Nitinbhai Patel extended heartfelt gratitude to Hon’ble Chief Minister Mr. Bhupendra Patel on behalf of the district’s citizens for the invaluable gift of development projects worth ₹91 crores. He emphasized the state government’s unwavering commitment to propel the Mehsana district toward greater industrial advancement. He highlighted the remarkable global recognition bestowed upon Mehsana district by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, who elevated Modhera as the country’s first solar village, lending it a prestigious identity worldwide.
    Celebrating the latest achievements, Shri Patel rejoiced as the Mehsana-Modhera Road transformed into a four-lane marvel and the modernized Taluka Seva Sadan in Jotana was inaugurated, bringing immense joy to the people.

    Rajya Sabha MP, Shri Jugalsinh Lokhandwala, along with the distinguished former Minister of State for Home Affairs, Shri Rajnibhai Patel, graced the occasion and delivered an enlightening address. District Collector of Mehsana Shri M. Nagarajan gave a welcome speech.
