Chief Minister gifts Rs. 187 crore developmental works to the people of Ahmedabad

    Gandhinagar, Tuesday: Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel inaugurated developmental works of Rs.  187 crore in Ahmedabad city and dedicated it to the citizens.

    On this occasion Chief Minister said that, under the leadership of Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi we have adopted such type of culture that laying of foundation stone as well as inaugurating of developmental works is done by us only.

    Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Gujarat has undertaken comprehensive development in the last two decades, the number of MSMEs in the state was 2.74 lakh two decades agao which has now increased to 8.66 lakh.

    1.27 lakh crore was the industrial production in the state 20 years back, which has now reached to 16.19 lakh crore.

    The centre of attraction for industrial investors in Gujarat has been the easy connectivity to basic facilities like roads, water,electricity etc. The Chief Minister said that small and big industrial units have become functional in every district of the state today.

    We have been benefited because of the double engine government we have under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Stating that the city of Ahmedabad has developed as a result of well-planned management, he added that the future outline of the progressive development of the city has been well planned.

    Chief Minister said that, post-independence national festivals like Independence Day was only a government event. But now under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, today such national festivals are celebrated with great enthusiasm.

    The people of the nation with lot of zest have participated in ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign initiated by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi leaving aside their caste and religion.

    Chief Minister invocated people to join statewide ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign from 13th to 15th August. Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel flagged off Tiranga Yatra after having inaugurated and laid foundation stone for developmental works.

    Chief Minister by participating in this Tiranga Yatra alongwith the citizens set an example of patriotism.

    Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel laid foundation stone for Rs. 51.25 developmental works and inaugurated Rs. 136.11 crore developmental works today which includes, Khokhra bridge, Chandkheda water distribution station, Kankaria railway track, Nikol Community Hall, Parimal Garden, 25 fire tankers developmental works was inaugurated by Chief Minister and made functioning for the service of the people.

    While foundation stone was laid for Pink toilet, Liladhar community hall to be constructed in Danilimda, redevelopment work of Virmayanagar houses, Bapunagar shelter home and Thakkarbapa Nagar water distribution system.

    On this occasion Ahmedabad City Mayor Shri Kirit Parmar, Deputy Mayor Smt Gita Patel, Standing Committee Chairman Shri Hitesh Barot, Former Minister of state for Home Shri Pradipsinh Jadeja , Ahmedabad Municipal Commissioner Shri Lochan Sehra and a large number of citizens including municipal councillors, office-bearers and officials were present.
