Gandhinagar, 22 July 2023: Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel inaugurated a two-storeyed modern and smart Sub-Registrar office at the Old Collector Office in Rajkot. The CM inspected the new building after unveiling the plaque with the dignitaries. A total of 3 offices which include Sub-Registrar Zone-2 (Morbi), Zone-8 (Rural) and Model Assistant Registration of Inspector office will operate from this new building.
Two floors in the Sub-Registrar Office, in the campus of the Old Collector Office, have been built at a cost of Rs.3.52 crore. This office is equipped with waiting room, record room, officer chamber, staff room, lift, conference hall, water room, parking, male and female washrooms and other facilities. The first floor has a waiting room and a record room while the second floor has conference hall, staff room, A.I.G.R and office of Inspector of Registration.
Minister of Water Supplies Shri Kunvarjibhai Bavaliya, Minister of Women and Child Development Smt. Bhanuben Babariya, MPs, MLAs, Superintendent of stamps and Inspector General of Registration Shri Jenu Devan and concerned officials were present during the event.
