    Success of state-of-the-art teaching facilities and quality education in government schools: Reverse trend of getting admission in government schools from private schools

    Gandhinagar, Saturday: Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel inaugurated Memnagar Smart (Anupam) School in Ahmedabad. He said that Due to the ‘Kanya Kelavani Mahotsav’ and ‘Shala Praveshotsav’ started by the then Chief Minister of Gujarat and the present Prime Minister of the country Shri Narendra Modi in 2002-2003, the graph of primary education has gone up all over Gujarat today. The dropout rate to 3 percent and the school enrolment rate has risen to 95 percent.

    Today advanced and technological education is being imparted in the government schools of the state. As a result, a reverse trend has started and children from private schools are getting admission in government schools, said the Chief Minister.

    This year, 5900 children in Ahmedabad have dropped out of private schools and got admission in government schools. In the last eight years, more than 41,000 children have come from private schools to government schools in Ahmedabad, added CM.

    Giving the role of Smart Anupam School, the Chief Minister said that today the state government is making efforts to make more and more children use technology. One more Smart Anupam School has been inaugurated in the state. All the technologies have been used in this smart school of Memnagar, through which projects have been brought in which learning does not feel burden and can be learned while playing.

    The resolution made by the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in the new National Education Policy is being realized by the Ahmedabad Nagar Primary Education Committee. Anupam School is a matter of pride for all of us. CM expressed the belief that tomorrow’s India will be built only through such schools.

    Outlining the number of children enrolled during this year’s “Kanya Kelavani” and “Shala Praveshotsav-2022” CM said that a total of 3.83 lakh students have been enrolled during last 2 days. More than 1.88 lakh girls have been nominated.

    With the inspiration of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, all the necessary facilities for education are being provided by the State Government and the Corporation. For the first time in the history, education was arranged for 139 children begging at the traffic signal by the Signal School and today these children have been enrolled in first standard.

    Gujarat has become a growth engine today, education will play an important role in advancing this growth engine. Efforts are been made by the state government to bring every common man into the mainstream of development.

    On this occasion Chief Minister planted a tree in the school premises and he sat in the classroom on bench with the students and watched the educational activities of the class room.

    Mayor of Ahmedabad Shri Kiritbhai Parmar, Deputy Mayor Shri Gitaben Patel, Commissioner Shri Lochan Sehra, Chairman of the School Board Shri Sujay Mehta, Vice Chairman of the School Board Shri Vipulbhai Sevak as well teachers and parents were present at large on the occasion.
