Advancing Science City’s Attractions: Another Progressive Step
The Musical Fountain will host two 25-minute shows daily, excluding Mondays
The performance promises to be a thrilling spectacle, featuring a Multimedia Laser Sound Show projected on a 36 x 16-meter water-screen. It spans three 70-meter-wide screens, all presented simultaneously with 3D projection, delivering an unforgettable experience for the audience.
3 November 2023, Gandhinagar: CM Shri Bhupendra Patel officially opened the revamped Multimedia Laser and Fountain at Science City, Ahmedabad. The revitalized musical fountain, featuring state-of-the-art sound and light technology spanning 70 meters across three screens in 3D projection, was introduced to the public during a Friday evening ceremony.
Since its inception in 2005, Science City, encompassing 10,000 square meters, has been a pioneer in introducing fresh galleries and innovative attractions each year, drawing inspiration from PM Shri Narendra Modi.
Upholding this legacy, the Science and Technology Department, under the guidance of CM Shri Bhupendra Patel, has successfully renovated Science City’s Musical Fountain.
Featuring a central water jet soaring to 50 meters, an array of 800 colorful lights, and a repertoire of over 15 synchronized musical compositions, this fountain promises to captivate spectators with an enchanting display formed by over 600 nozzles.
The 70-meter-wide, three-screen Musical Fountain is set to deliver a thrilling experience, featuring a Multimedia Laser Sound Show on a 36×16 meter water screen and two additional screens measuring 16×9 meters, all presented in stunning 3D projection. At night, this fountain will illuminate the surroundings with a vibrant, sky-like display.
This Musical Fountain will showcase theme-based shows daily, with each performance lasting at least 25 minutes, except for Mondays. The inauguration of this fountain at Science City was graced by the presence of Mayor Smt. Pratibha Jain, Principal Secretary of the Science and Technology Department Shri Dhananjay Dwivedi, Science City officials, and a significant turnout of citizens and students.
