On the occasion of World Environment Day, AMC gifts another Oxygen Park to the citizens
Oxygen Park will be developed in an area of 24,270 square meters by AMC
Gandhinagar, 5th June 2023: On the occasion of World Environment Day, Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel inaugurated the construction work of Oxygen Park at Tragad in Chandlodia Ward of North West Zone.
7,500 trees were planted in the esteemed presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel.
The oxygen park is another step in promoting the Green Ahmedabad, Clean Ahmedabad campaign. It is worth mentioning that 75,000 trees will be planted in an area of 24,270 square meters using the Miyawaki method for plantation.
The oxygen park will be designed to offer a variety of amenities and activities for visitors including a serene pond, lush green lawns, a refreshing walking track, and a charming gazebo. Additionally, catering to the fitness enthusiasts, there will be an open gymnasium and a dedicated yoga point. For the enjoyment of children, the park will also feature an array of sports equipments.
Municipal Commissioner Shri M. Thennarasan, esteemed MLAs, corporators, and other officials of the AMC were present at the inaugural.
