Ahmedabad: Chief Minister Mr. Vijaybhai Rupani today visited a five-star hotel that is almost on completion stage of construction in the Railway Station Complex in Gandhinagar. During his visit, the Chief Minister gathered the information and surveyed the facilities and ancillary arrangements of the hotel.
The 318 rooms’ hotel is a built by ‘Garud’, a joint venture of the state government and the Government of India.
The hotel is equipped with facilities such as Club House, Banquet Hall, Spa, Health Center, Swimming Pool and others.
The sections of this hotel project mainly include the modernization of the existing railway station in Gandhinagar, the construction of an underpass connecting Vavol village (near Gandhinagar) with the Mahatma Mandir as well as the construction of an up and down ramp to go upstairs to the 318 rooms’ hotel.
During the visit, the Chief Minister was also accompanied by Mr. K. Kailashnathan, Chief Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, and Mr. S S Rathore, Chairman, Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation, and others.
