Gandhinagar, Friday: Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel laid foundation stone for Multispeciality hospital at Shree Swaminarayan Sanskardham Gurukul in Dhrangadhra.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, we have been able to combat pandemic like Corona with the help of free vaccine, free ration and free treatment.The Prime Minister, who is always concerned about public health, anticipates the obstacles ahead and suggests remedies to overcome them.
Chief Minister added saying that, Due to changed life style people are suffering from diseases like BP( Blood Pressure), Diabetes, Cancer at a relatively young age and excessive use of chemicals in agriculture is having harmful effects on our health and in the quality of soil. People should adopt natural farming to overcome such obstacles. To increase the prevalence of organic farming and to increase awareness about its benefits in order to to get good returns, guidance and assistance are being provided to the farmers from plantation to packaging and sales. A campaign is being launched for this, which will be very beneficial for the farmers and citizens of Gujarat eventually.
Talking about wrong eating habits and its adverse effects, the Chief Minister said that The use of coarse grains like ragi, barley, millets in the diet is beneficial for health and keeping in mind the proposal of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to celebrate the year 2023 as ‘International Year of Millets which has been supported by more than 70 countries around the world, Which shows the popularity and foresightedness of the Prime Minister.
Referring to the work and contribution of Swaminarayan Sampradaya, the Chief Minister said that Sampradaya has always been with the government in helping the country and society in times of any kind of calamity or trouble. The Chief Minister added that once the construction of this 100-bed multi-speciality hospital is completed, it will be a blessing for the citizens of the surrounding area.
On this occasion, Swami Ramakrishna Dasji of Sanskardham gave his blessings and thanked the donors who donated for the 100-bed multispecialty hospital which will be built in an area of 44 thousand square feet at an estimated cost of Rs. 20 crore.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister also felicitated the donors who donated for the construction of the hospital.
On this occasion, Former minister Shri Brijesh Merja, I.K. Jadeja and Daskroi MLA Shri Babulal Jamnadas Patel gave speeches relevant to the occasion.
