Chief Minister offers tribute to Shri Govind Guru at Kamboi dham on World Tribal Day

Chief Minister unfurls ‘Navdhwaja’ near the idol of Shri Govind Guru in the temple premises

Gandhinagar, Tuesday: Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel visited Samadhi of Shri Govind Guru, the Messiah of tribals and hero of the freedom struggle at Kamboi Dham today as a part of state-level celebration of World Tribal Day and paid tribute to him.

After arriving in Jhalod, Chief Minister unfurled the Navdhwaja near the idol of Shri Govind Guru in the temple premises. Located at Kamboi in Jhalod taluka, this Samadhi place is a place of faith and belief for the tribals. Chief Minister received a warm and authentic welcome as per the tribal tradition with folk music and tribal musical instruments.  Tribal girls welcomed the Chief Minister with Kalash-Srifal.

On this occasion Tribal Development Minister Shri Naresh Patel, MP Shri Jasvantsinh Bhabhor, Collector Dr. Harshit Gosavi, District Superintendent of Police Shri Balram Meena, officers and tribal devotees were present.
