Gandhinagar, Saturday: Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel participated virtually from Ropda village in Ahmedabad district for the launching of 5G services by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi from New Delhi and also inauguration of 6th Edition of Indian Mobile Congress which was done by Prime Minister.
Prime Minister’s message was broadcasted live from New Delhi and a program of virtual dialogue with school children was also held in Gujarat along with other states of the country.
The Chief Minister participated in the launch of 5-G services by Prime Minister from Primary School in Ropda village in Daskroi.
Chief Minister in a program organized at Ropda School said that, A new chapter of digital revolution in India has started today. With the help of 5G, any work related to fields like education, environment, health, including the industrial sector will now become faster and easier.
Not only that, with the arrival of 5G technology major changes will be seen in every aspect of human life, he added.
Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel further said that Today, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi dedicated 5G technology for telecommunication to the country which will pave the way for increasing automation in industries.
New industries will also flourish due to the high performance and high speed of 5G technology. He expressed hope that along with the emergence of new areas of employment and training, new doors of development will also be opened.
The Chief Minister said that apart from industrial aspect, 5G services in the field of healthcare will make public health protection framework more comprehensive and vigorous.
Elaborating the benefits of 5G in the education sector Chief Minister said that, With the help of 5G, teachers and professors will be able to teach students virtually . Apart from this, many educational projects of the state government like DIKSHA, G-Shala, Vidya Samiksha Kendra can become more effective and efficient.
Mentioning the aid received in developing the digital eco system in the country under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi the Chief Minister said that Prime Minister is the pioneer of this telecommunication revolution coming in the country.
Many government services are now available at the fingertips with mobile phone-internet. Digital transaction, UPI, online booking, food delivery app, many important things have become possible due to digital technology. If this transformation can come from 4G, then imagine how much impactful and far-reaching benefits that will come with the launch of 5G technology. He explained.
Chief Minister expressed confidence in the fact that, According to an estimate data the data usage in the country will double in the next three years after the launch of 5G. Mentioning the benefits of this technology, the Chief Minister said that with the help of 5G and drones, farmers will be able to spray pesticides easily. With 5G technology providing speeds of up to 6 GB per second, the internet will now become a natural and cheap indescribable commodity, the Chief Minister added.
Shri Gunjan Dave, General Manager, Department of Telecommunication in his welcome address gave detailed information about the benefits of 5G service. The Prime Minister interacted with Jaimini Thakor and Hardik Thakor, studying in class eight of Ropda Primary School
On this occasion Daskroi MLA Shri Babu Jamnadas Patel, District BJP President Shri Harshadgiri Goswami, Shri Dhanraj Nathwani of Reliance Group, Science and Technology Department Secretary Shri Vijay Nehra, District Collector Shri Sandip Sangle, District Development Officer Shri Anil Dhameliya, students and teachers were present.
