The CM shares a meal with elderly individuals on the New Year of Vikram Samvat 2080
CM will provide meals for lunch/dinner at 14 different old age homes
Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel, with his simple, honest, and compassionate personality, has consistently presented a distinctive image of himself to others, becoming everyone’s Bhupendra Patel.
The CM sets another example by demonstrating his respectful and compassionate demeanor towards the elderly. On the afternoon of the New Year of Vikram Samvat 2080, CM visited the Indian Red Cross Society’s Vatsalya Old Age Home at Wadaj in Ahmedabad.
CM visited Vatsalya Old Age Home and conveyed New Year greetings to all the elders, serving them food and sharing a meal with them. The primary aim of organizing this Sneh-Bhojan is to enable the elderly to celebrate Diwali and the New Year with joy. It provides an opportunity for everyone, including their children, to receive blessings, bringing joy to all.
Subsequently, CM received blessings from all the elders and extended greetings to policemen, doctors from the Red Cross Society, and media workers present at the event.
Chairman of Gujarat Red Cross Society Shri Ajay Patel, Member of the Red Cross Society Managing Committee Dr. Ajay Patel, Corporator Shri Pritesh Mehta, along with all senior citizens of Vatsalya Old Age Home and other officials, attended the event.
Notably, CM Shri Bhupendra Patel arranges lunch and evening meals for the New Year in 14 different old age homes. This initiative allows elderly individuals from various homes in Ahmedabad to partake in the New Year and Diwali celebrations.
