Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel visits Kalol IFFCO’s Nano Urea Plant

    Nano urea plant with an investment of Rs 175 crore produces 1.5 lakh bottles of 500 ml daily

    Gandhinagar, Thursday:  Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel today visited the Nano Urea Plant of Kalol IFFCO which was recently inaugurated by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Bhai Modi.

    The state-of-the-art plant at Kalol has the capacity to produce 1.5 lakh bottles at present.

    The Prime Minister aims to reduce foreign dependence on urea by starting 8 more such plants in the country in the near future.

    The Chief Minister visited the plant and realized the importance of the step taken towards self-reliance in this nanotechnology under the guidance of the Prime Minister.

    The plant, which operates in IFFCO Kalol with an investment of Rs 175 crore, produces 1.5 lakh bottles of nano urea of 500 ml per day.

    The Chief Minister also inspected the activities of the entire Nano Urea plant as well as the control room.

    After the inaugural session of the National Conference of School Education Ministers being held at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar, Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel suddenly arrived at Kalol IFFCO’s Nano Urea Plant without any pre-arranged program.

    The Chief Minister was accompanied by Chief Secretary Shri Pankaj Kumar, Gandhinagar Collector Kuldip Arya and senior engineers of IFFCO Kalol Plant.
