The State has geared up to administer the precaution dose or the third dose of vaccine against COVID-19 to frontline health workers and senior citizens over 60 from Monday at primary health centres
CM visits the vaccination centre and inspects the work undertaken for precautionary doses
Gandhinagar, Saturday: A total of 9 lakh health care workers, frontline workers and those over 60 with co-morbidities will be administered the precautionary dose of COVID-19 vaccine in the state starting January 10.
Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Bhupendra Patel launched the precautionary dose programme from the urban health centre at Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation Sector-29, on Monday morning. On the first day, jabs would be administered at 3,500 health centres across the state by around 17 thousand health workers.
The CM encouraged the health workers and beneficiaries during his visit. Gandhinagar Mayor Mr. Hitesh Makwana, Additional Chief Secretary of state health department Mr. Mukesh Kumar, Gandhinagar Municipal Commissioner Dr. Dhaval Patel, as well as senior officials of health department and officials of Municipal Corporation, etc were also present on the occasion.
