Chief Minister’s sensitive approach towards poor families who live on daily wages

    In the current situation of 21 day long lockdown across nation announced by PM Shri Narendrabhai Modi following corona virus outbreak, Gujarat chief minister Shri Vijaybhai Rupani today made an important announcement for poor people and families in the state.

    State government will provide all essential goods and ration to such 60 lakh  poor families who live on daily wages.  State government will provide 3.50 kg wheat, 1.50 kg rice to individuals and per card 1 kg sugar – Salt – dal will provided from approved ration shops

    Shri Vijaybhai Rupani said that the State Government has taken this important decision to help the poor families who live on daily wages and during lockdown situation.

    He also said that the state government is planning seriously to ensure that there will not be any problem in future for the supply of essential goods or any other essential services.

    Shri Vijaybhai Rupani once again appealed to all citizens to stay at home during these 21 days and not to gather outside. In addition, he added there is sufficient supply of essential goods in the state and there is no need to worry about shortage of goods.
