CM administers two-drops of polio vaccine to children to achieve aim of ‘Polio Free India, Polio Free Gujarat‘

With an objective to achieve 100 per cent success in making ‘Polio Free India, Polio Free Gujarat’, Chief Minister Mr. Vijaybhai Rupani administered two-drops of polio vaccines to children at the community center situated near the ministers‘ bungalow in Gandhinagar, today.

Minister of state for health Mr. Kishore Kanani (Kumar) and health commissioner Dr. Jayanti Ravi were also present there.

The polio vaccine campaign would cover all 84,00,000 children up to age of five-year. For this, 38,000 vaccine booths have been set up across the state. As many as 74,648 vaccination teams and 158,861 Karmayogis have joined the campaign.

The Chief Minister had praised the elaborate arrangements made by the health department to ensure that the vaccination campaign covers each and every child up to age of five-year. He also expressed determination to make ‘Gujarat Polio Free’.
