    Gandhinagar, 10 September 2023: In the concluding remarks of the International Conference on Clinical Research for Holistic Wellbeing, focusing on the Role of Psychology, Yoga, and Naturopathy, held at the Divine School in Mehsana’s Shankuz Water Park, Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel underscored the profound impact of the contemplation and introspection. He emphasized that the insights shared during this conference will serve as a source of motivation for fostering good health during the Amrit Kaal.

    The Chief Minister also expressed that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is committed to the health and well-being of citizens across the world. He went on to highlight the Prime Minister’s remarkable initiative, where the PM proposed to the United Nations the celebration of June 21 as International Yoga Day and it received wholehearted acceptance from the international community.

    The Chief Minister emphasized that International Yoga Day has significantly popularized Yoga and Pranayama, transforming it into a powerful medium for alleviating mental stress and promoting overall well-being by harmonizing the body, mind, and consciousness.

    Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel also commended the conference’s role in rejuvenating individuals through the holistic practices of Yoga, Naturopathy, and Mental Health Psychology, stating that it is a timely and fitting endeavor for promoting health and well-being.

    He noted that the success of the G-20 has boosted India’s repute on the global stage. In the spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, the world now unites under a common banner of health consciousness, guided by a shared vision.

    The Chief Minister underscored the vital link between good health and quality nutrition, highlighting the nationwide acceptance of natural farming, championed by the Prime Minister. This collective effort is poised to play a pivotal role in shaping a healthier and stronger nation in the future.

    Under the guidance of Governor Shri Acharya Devvrat, the government is actively promoting natural farming. Additionally, to provide a more comprehensive approach to the utilization of traditional medicine in disease treatment, a Global Center for Traditional Medicine is underway in Gujarat under the PM’s guidance and in collaboration with the World Health Organization.

    The Chief Minister highlighted that the entire nation, inspired by the PM, is celebrating the International Year of Millets This global initiative signifies a return to the roots of nutrition (Back to Basics approach) , with people worldwide recognizing the value of traditional and wholesome food systems.

    Conference Chairman Chirag Andhariya said that over the past 18 years, the Shankuz Naturopathy Center has positively impacted 28,000 individuals from 27 countries. Additionally, the conference itself was a dynamic platform, featuring 127 research presentations by 275 delegations over three days. The discussions delved deep into a range of topics, including cancer and mental health.

    The conference aimed to disseminate the principles of Yoga, Naturopathy, and Psychology to the public with the theme ‘Never get sick’.

    The three-day conference took place at the Shankuz Natural Health Center in Mehsana district, in association with several institutions such as North Gujarat University, Patan, Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Open University, and Somnath Sanskrit University.

    This conference convened to facilitate collaborative brainstorming, fusing our rich traditional medical systems with modern scientific research, alongside the disciplines of psychology, yoga, and naturopathy. The Chief Minister presented awards during the conference.

    MLA Shri Mukesh Patel, District Collector Shri M Nagarajan, Chairman of Heart Foundation Research Institute Mr. Nitin Shah, Vice Chancellor of Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Open University Dr. Ami Upadhyay, Dean of Lakulish University Mr. Dinesh Panchal, researchers, students, and professors were present during the event.
