CM, cabinet ministers and government employees start routine office activities from today

    Chief Minister Shri Vijaybhai Rupani and Ministers of State Cabinet have restarted their office under Unlock-1 from Monday 1st June and started their day to day activities. The Chief Minister has started his day to day work with the commitment to revive public life by expediting the public interest works and people oriented decisions. Various offices of the state government, including the secretariat, have also been formally reopened from today.

    The Chief Minister entered the premises of the Chief Minister’s Office at Swarnim Sankul-1 with Vaishnavajan to… anthem hearing and observed a two-minute silence to pay homage to the deceased who lost their lives in the global epidemic Corona.

    Senior Secretaries including Deputy Chief Minister Shri Nitinbhai Patel, Ministers Shri Bhupendrasinh Chudasama, Shri Kaushikbhai Patel, Shri Saurabhbhai Patel, Smt. Vibhavaribahen Dave, Chief Secretary Shri Anil Mukim also joined the Chief Minister.

    Officers/employees of the Chief Minister’s Office and Ministers’ Office have also started their work by being present with compliance of social distance and mask.

    On the first day of the restart, the Chief Minister held a high-level meeting with the ministers and high officials to discuss about the steps were taken to improve the economic activities in the state after Covid-19 situation. The Interim Report for Economic Revival given by the Hasmukh Adhiya Committee was discussed.

    Earlier, the Chief Minister held a high level meeting in State Emergency Operation at 11 am and got information about the preparedness of the concerned district administrations and the state government for rescue, security measures following the forecast of possible storms in South Gujarat region and Bhavnagar-Amreli district of Saurashtra.

    The Chief Minister had detailed video conferencing discussion with the Union Home Minister Shri Amitbhai Shah in the late evening regarding the forecast of this possible hurricane and discussions on all preparedness to deal with the possible hurricane situation in Gujarat. During the whole day, the Chief Minister was engaged in routine work-visits at his Office at Swarnim Sankul-1.
