CM conducts a review meeting through CM Dashboard
Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Rupani conducted review meeting with the Mayors, Chairman of Standing Committee, Municipal Commissioners and Heads of City Police of Ahmedabad, Jamnagar, Junagadh, Surat, Vadodara, Rajkot , Bhavnagar, Gandhinagar for getting an overview of the developmental works and the security arrangements in the concerned cities.
The CM directed the Department of Urban Development to ensure better facilities for the people and their safety by making the administration more effective. He talked about traffic regulation, removal of encroachments and other illegal constructions that prove to be an obstacle in public spaces.
He also talked directed the administration to ensure a dedicated network of CCTV cameras and its functioning for ensuring the safety of the people. The sensitive CM also added instructions for the welfare of the cattle in the cities through proper provision of fodder, water etc.
Mr. Rupani encouraged the district administration to use the STP network for reusing the drainage water and advised the officials to provide a dedicated system of water provision so that the people do not face water crisis in the coming summer.
He further stressed on introduction of E-challan (as done in Ahmedabad) for all those who violate traffic rules.
Chief Principal Secretary to the CM Mr. K.Kailashnathan, D.G.P Mr. Shivanand Jha, Principal Secretary to CM Mr. M.K. Das, Principal Secretary of Department of Urban Development Mr. Mukesh Puri and various other officials were present during the review meeting.
