CM, DCM, Assembly Speaker performed pooja at Shiv temple in Vadodara
Chief Minister Mr. Vijaybhai Rupani, Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Nitinbhai Patel, and Gujarat Assembly Speaker Mr. Rajendrabhai Trivedi today on auspicious day of ‘Maha-Shivratri’ attended Maha-Aarti and performed a pooja of Lord Shiva at Sarveshwar Shiv temple, located at Sursagar Lake in Vadodara, and sought his blessings.
The Chief Minister said from soul to divine-super-soul (God) is our philosophy. Lord Bholenath (Shiva) ends the worldly sorrows.
On the occasion, the works of renovation of Jagnath Mahadev, installation of 111 feet tall idol of Lord Shiva, and embedding the idol of Sarveshwar Mahadev with gold has also commenced today.
In his prayer, the Chief Minister also sought blessings of Lord Shiva for making Gujarat a safe, prosper and powerful state.
Others who joined the dignitaries included BJP State President Mr. Chandrakant Patil, Gujarat Home Minister Mr. Pradipsinh Jadeja, Narmada Vikas Minister Mr. Yogeshbhai Patel, Vadodara City Mayor Mr. Keyurbhai Rokadiya, Member of Parliament Mrs. Ranjanben Bhatt, Deputy Mayor Nandaben Joshi, MLAs – Jitubhai, Seembaben, Ketanbhai, and District Collector Mrs. Shalini Agrawal.
