CM dedicates nomadic caste accomodations and hostel at Kakar in Kankrej taluka

    Gandhinagar, Friday: Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel today dedicated nomadic caste accomodation and hostel at Kakar in Kankrej taluka of Banaskantha district. He handed over the keys of the house at Kakar’s Vadipura to the homeless nomadic caste families living without shelters.

    Our Government is working with the development mantra given by our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi of “Sauno Sath Sauno Vikas Sauno Vishvas”. State government has a lot of schemes but working for the nomadic caste gives special self-satisfaction. Till date 4000 people of nomadic caste have been given charter assistance for housing.

    Gujarat is the growth engine of the nations development, GoG is concerned that no one will be left out of the mainstream of development. Apart from the houses in Narendranagar Wadi, hostel has also been built for the children to study, said CM.

    Education, health and security are the foundation of Gujarat’s development. During the Covid pandemic PM has provided health facilities by uniting the nation. Due to peace and security in Gujarat, people can move around fearlessly.

    Addressing the nomadic community CM said that, state government is trying to move you forward but it’s your responsibility now to move out from blind faith and made a heartfelt appeal to educate children for building a self-reliant Gujarat and a self-reliant India. PM understood the plight of such nomadic castes and he has given priority to Antyodaya development works like allotment of housing scheme plots to these castes.

    Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Shri Pradipbhai Parmar said that, this program Organized by the Vicharta Samudaya Samarthan Manch, the district administration and the state government will prove to be an important step towards realizing Prime Ministers dream of providing house to everyone by the year 2022.

    A total of 15475 sq.m. land has been allotted for residential purposes to a total of 185 beneficiary families of nomadic caste in Kakar. A total of Rs. 97.12 lakh assistance has been paid to 214 beneficiaries under Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Awas Yojana.

    Minister of State for Education Shri Kirtisinh Vaghela said that, it is a three dimensional opportunity of inauguration of accommodations for nomadic families, a hostel and pranpratishtha of Mahadev’s temple by CM. From years, a system of education has been set up along with accommodation for the people of the nomadic community who have been deprived of development.

    Founder of the Vicharta Samuday Samarthan Manch Smt. Mittalben Patel said that, I thank the district administration and the state government for providing facilities to the nomadic community as well as providing accommodation to them.

    Minister in charge of the district Shri Gajendrasinh Parmar, MPs Shri Parbatbhai Patel and Shri Bharatsinh Dabhi, Leader Shri. Gumansinh Chauhan, Shri Andabhai Patel, Shri Nandaji Thakor, Collector Shri Anand Patel, Superintendent of Police Shri Akshayraj Makwana and other officials were present on the occasion.
