1.20 km long overbridge will make the journey between Rajkot – Jetpur – Gondal easier and faster for the citizens

Gandhinagar, Sunday: Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel today dedicated the six-lane overbridge built at a cost of around Rs. 89 crore at Gondal Crossroad as a part of giving one more gift to Rajkot district in the field of road transport by the Government.
District Collector Shri Arun Mahesh Babu in his welcome speech briefed CM about the operation of Gondal Crossroad Bridge.
It is worth to worth to mention here that, the 1.20 km long six-lane overbridge constructed by the National Highway Authority of India will facilitate the journey to Ahmedabad, Porbandar and Somnath including Rajkot – Jetpur – Gondal. The six lane elevated flyover on single pier is based on cantilever porion precast RCC on both sides. The construction of this flyover will ease the heavy traffic problem and speed up the journey and increase the convenience of the people. Landscaping work will also be done under the flyover in the near future. A modern concrete structure with easy greening facility among plants and flowers will create a beautiful view with natural beauty.

Bhanuben Babariya, Shri Raghavji Patel, MP Mohanbhai Kundariya, Shri Rameshbhai Dhaduk, Shri Rambhai Mokaria, MLA Shri Rameshbhai Tilala, Shri Udaybhai Kangad, Mayor Shri Pradip Dove, Rajkot District Panchayat President Shri Bhupatbhai Bodar, Leader Shri Kamlesh Mirani, District Development Officer, Commissioner of Police, Municipal Commissioner, PGVCL MD, National Highway Authority of India Regional Officer, Project Director, Provincial Officer, officials and engineers involved in the construction of the bridge were present on the occasion.
