CM & Dy.CM visits Jamnagar, Chairs a review meeting regarding transition of Corona in Jamnagar

Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Rupani and Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Nitin Patel chaired a review meeting with the officials of the district administrative as well with the public representatives to assess the overall situation regarding the transition as well the control of Corona in Jamnagar district.

Mr. Rupani said that from the last five months, the entire attention of the state government has been focused on controlling corona and for this maximum action is being taken by the health department in coordination with the district administration.

Explaining the preparedness of the State Government to control corona Mr. Rupani assured that State Government is able to resolve all serious situations.

Mr. Rupani expressed his confidence and said that with the cooperation of people and awareness to take precautionary steps proves to be helpful to prevent the transition of corona.

Apart from WHO guidelines, more corona tests are being conducted in Gujarat. State Government aims to increase the number of testing from 26000 to 30000in the state.

The Chief Minister expressed satisfaction over the role of the district administration to control the transition of corona in Jamnagar district. Instructions have been given to the concerned officers to conduct daily 1200 tests in Jamnagar and to increase the number of Dhanvantri Raths as well the Tocilizumab injection.

Mr. Rupani said that Gujarat has a recovery rate of 75.4 percent and a mortality rate of 3.5 percent and positivity of 8 percent.

All District Collectors and Municipal Commissioners have been instructed to fully comply with the fire safety rules in all the hospitals across the state, to complete the necessary electrification urgently and to comply with all the government rules in Covid Hospital.

During the visit Cabinet Minister Mr. R. C. Faldu, Minister of State Mr. Dharmendrasinh Jadeja, MP Poonamben Madam, MLA Mr. Raghavjibhai Patel, Mayor, Deputy Mayor, Standing Committee Chairman, District BJP president, Chief Secretary, Chief Principal Secretary to the chief minister, Principal Secretary for Health joined the visit.
