CM flags off 29K cards thanking Kargil Jawans prepared by NCC cadets
Gandhinagar, Saturday: Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Rupani today flagged off more than 29 thousand thanking and gratitude cards themed on patriotism prepared by NCC cadets under the fifth phase of “Ek Me Sau Ke Liye”- campaign “Kargil Ke Veeron Ko Gujarat Ka Aabhar” to the Kargil border.
Mr. Rupani encouraged the cadets by having a glance at the display of patriotic themed cards prepared by NCC cadets from Gujarat, Dadarnagar Haveli, Daman and Diu during the flag off function held at the Chief Minister’s residence.
It is worth to note here that, more than 29,000 greeting cards prepared by NCC cadets will be sent from Ahmedabad to the Northern Command Head Quarters, Udhampur, and from there to the Kargil border.
On the occasion MP Dr. Kirit Solanki, Former Minister Mr. Ramanbhai Vora, Principal Secretary to Department of Higher and Technical Education Mr. S. J. Haider, Additional Director General of NCC Directorate Gujarat, Major General Arvind Kapoor, Deputy Director General Brigadier Harshvardhan Singh, Director Group Captain Sanjay Vaishnavi, senior NCC officials and Cadets remained present.
