CM handover homes to 36 beneficiaries of JITO Awas Yojana

CM urges saints-mahants to take ‘Corona Vaccination’; he also appeals to MLAs to make exclusive arrangement for vaccinations of saints-mahants of Gujarat

Ahmedabad: Chief Minister Mr. Vijaybhai Rupani today welcome the move of Jain International Trade Organization (JITO) to provide home to 36 needy families of Jain community as this way the JITO has supported Prime Minister Mr. Narendrabhai Modi’s pledge to provide house to every family across India by year-2022.

Announcing to make exclusive arrangement for administering the ‘Corona Vaccination’ for saints, mahants and sadhus on the occasion, the Chief Minister urged the MLAs to prepare a list of saints, sadhus and mahants and prominent leaders who are residing in their constituency and then to make an arrangement for their vaccinations.

Mr. Rupani further stated that for last one year the state government has been fighting against the ‘Covid-19’, as a result, Gujarat is having lesser mortality ratio due to Corona, compared to other states.

The Chief Minister also expressed a hope that in near future the JITO would provide homes of 1,000 needy families with PPP. He also praised the people of Jain community for adhering to the principles of “sacrifices” and “dedication” of Lord Mahavir Swami for helping the poor and needy people.

The Chief Minister had also urged to the leaders of JITO to build a hostel for boy and girl students of the Jain community in Ahmedabad, which has become an “Educational Hub” due to establishing of premier institutions like IIM, NID, NIFT and others.

The event was also attended by Chairman of JITO, its President, prominent leaders of the Jain Community.
