Gandhinagar, Thursday: In a historic event of Police Force, Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Rupani handed-over 18000 appointment letters to newly appointed youth police jawans at Ahmedabad and called on them to fulfill the responsibility to provide security to people of Gujarat in the land of Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Saheb. He emphasized to build reputation of Gujarat police force to became role-model for world-wide police forces.
Mr. Rupani clearly said that Gujarat police is full of youth police force and briefed people about procedure of recruitment in police force. In this context he said that we gave priority to law and order and security of people to achieve new horizons of development. He congratulated the Home Department and Police Recruitment Board for performing transparent and undisputed recruitment. These recruitments have been made on the basis of their skills and the merit list, he added.
With inspiring the newly appointed police employees, Mr. Rupani said that lets show our control and loyalty towards our duties so the anti-social elements could be restraint by us. People could assure secured under your duties and that is only our religion of service. This government has made more than 70000 recruitments with well-planned manner with a view to provide employment to youth of Gujarat in government services.
This government has given employment opportunities to the youth realizing the slogan of “Har Hath Ko Kaam”. Mr. Rupani said that we need to give opportunities to the youth of the nation today. Under the inspirational leadership of our Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, the youth of the nation get this opportunity through Young India. Initiative is been taken to join the youth of nation to protect law and order to realize the slogan of Young India, Young Gujarat. Mr. Rupani expressed his desire to begin two new Military Schools. He asked for gender equity by establishing a prominent radiance of women’s power and empowerment in police force.
Minister of State for Home Department Mr. Pradeepsinh Jadeja said that this is the first historical occasion to recruit as many as 18000 police together after the establishment of Gujarat. Mr. Rupani has provided employment opportunities to youth of Gujarat and state government also gives high priority for peace, security and safety of Gujarat.
Director General of Police Geetha Johri gave welcome speech and narrated that in this recruitment occasion as many as 4527 women are also included and said that the recruitment has been done through transparency of Lokrakshak Recruitment Board.
Additional Chief Secretary to Home Department Mr. M. S. Dagur gave expanded details of law and order of police force and the recruitment process.
On the occasion Cabinet Ministers, MLAs, MPs, Chief Whip, Chief Secretary, Chief Principal Secretary to CM, High-level officers from police department and the Appointee police officers and jawans were remained present.
