Gandhinagar, Wednesday: Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel has shown the commitment of the state government for women empowerment along with promoting women entrepreneurs in the state.
In this context he said that for the first time in the history the state government has created a new chapter of women empowerment by allotting a budget crossing Rs 1 lakh crore for women oriented schemes this year.
The women entrepreneurs of FICCI’s women’s wing FLO FICCI Ladies Wing Organization were invited by Chief Minister at his residence in Gandhinagar for a friendly interaction.
The Chief Minister has started a new tradition of interacting with various sections of the society, beneficiaries of various schemes of the state government, Karma Yogis and has made everyone feel about the unique personality of ‘Amara Bhupendrabhai’.
In the same series, he invited these women entrepreneurs to the Chief Minister’s residence and learned about their experiences, details of contribution of women power in the industry sector, conversation and interaction.
Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel told these entrepreneurial women that, In this year’s budget, more than 200 schemes which includes schemes which are women -oriented schemes. He also highlighted the role of the state government in promoting women startups.
The women’s entrepreneurs of FLO also narrated their experiences including the support they are getting from the state government.
