Gujarat CM Releases Book “Compendium on History of Land Revenue Administration in Gujarat”

Chief Minister Shri Vijay Rupani today released a book “Compendium on History of Land Revenue Administration in Gujarat” in a seminar organized by Revenue Department at Rajkot. Shri K. Srinivas, Principal Secretary, Revenue Department is Chief Editor of the book. With releasing the book, CM Shri Rupani said that state government is working towards provide justice and clear decision to everyone.

CM Shri Rupani said that government has made simple rules and procedure in the cases of residential construction on surplus land under Urban Land Ceiling (ULC) Regulation Act, whether it is proposed societies or non agriculture, and in the case of old-new conditions.

Describing that government has developed such working method so that applicants may not harassed wrongly, he said that there were many inconsistency in resolutions of different government departments in same matter. These resolutions have been made according to justice. Many historical decisions have been taken in revenue department also. Government has taken many steps to prevent dishonesty in revenue department by simplification with the help of technology.

CM Shri Rupani said that this book will be helpful to revenue officers in taking precise and speedy decisions. He also appreciated revenue department along with M. S. University for preparing this book.

On this occasion, Revenue Minister Shri Bhupendrsinh Chudasama, Principal Secretary of Revenue Department Shri K. Srinivas, M. S. University Chancellor Shri Parimal Vyas Deputy Collector Shri Dhaval Pandya, MP Shri Mohanbhai Kundariya, Chairman of Gujarat Municipal Finance Board Shri Dhansukhbhai Bhanderi, MLAs Shri Govindbhai Patel, Shri Pravinbhai Makadiya, Smt. Bhanuben Babariya, Former Standing Committee Chairman, Mayor, Deputy Mayor, Vice president of Pavitra Yatradham Board, Collector, Deputy collector, Municipal Commissioner, DDO and Mamlatdars were remained present.
