Gandhinagar, Monday: Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel participated in the Aarti at Jagannath Temple on the eve of Lord Jagannathji’s 146th Rath Yatra to be held in Ahmedabad.
Chief Minister felt blessed after having worshipped Lord Jagannathji.
Minister of Health Shri Rushikesh Patel, Minister of State for Cooperation and Rural Industries Shri Jagdish Vishwakarma and MLA’s of Ahmedabad joined Chief Minister in this Aarti.
After performing Aarti Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel said that, As per our culture and tradition, like every year, this year also Rath Yatra will be held in Ahmedabad city. I extend my wishes to everyone on the occasion of Rath Yatra.
Chief Minister prayed to Lord Jagannath for the happiness, peace and prosperity of the citizens of the state.
Speaking about the Biparjoy cylone Chief Minister said, The cyclone did hit Gujarat but because of our advance and timely planning we have been able to combat against cyclone with zero casualty. He further said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and with the support and cooperation of Shri Amit Shah he state government and the people have worked as a team against the calamity.
On this occasion, MP Shri Hasmukh Patel, Shri Kirit Solanki, MLAs of Ahmedabad city, former ministers Shri Jitu Vaghani, Shri Pradipsinh Jadeja, Shri Pradip Parmar, in-charge city police commissioner Shri Premveer Singh and a large number of citizens were present.
