Gujarat CM Pays Tribute to Gujarati Humorist Tarak Mehta
Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Vijay Rupani today expressed deep sorrow and paid tribute to one of the great Gujarati humorist, author and play writer late Shri Tarak Mehta here in Gandhinagar.
Paying tribute to comic writer Late Shri Tarak Mehta, CM Shri Rupani said that he has been serving laughter on our faces since 40 years. His comic series “Tarak Mehta Ka Ultah Chasmha”, which is running on television, has become very popular in India and across the world as well. Late Shri Tarak Mehta was recently awarded with Ramanbhai Nilkanth award. With his death Gujarat has lost first liner humorist and play writer and may god rest his soul in peace.
CM Shri Rupani also conveyed his condolence through a telephonic talk to his wife Smt. Induben.
