CM Vijay Rupani appeals farmers to adopt basic agriculture practices with ancient tradition techniques

    Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Rupani addressed farmers on the occasion of conclusion of Zero Budget Spiritual Agriculture Workshop, organized by Bhartiya Kisan Sangh near Gandhinagar. He appealed farmers of Gujarat to adopt basic agriculture practices along with ancient (Hrishi) tradition techniques and modern science.

    He congratulated Bhartiya Kisan Sangh to organize such workshop which will bring real prosperity to agriculture economy by developing new ideology with the spiritual agriculture.
    “The effort to bring spirituality in agriculture with zero budget technique will succeed,” CM Mr Vijay Rupani added.

    Mr. Rupani said that both Union and State Governments are committed to welfare of farmers. He briefed about the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana which has been announced by the Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi and said that crop insurance worth Rs. 1795 crore has been already paid to the farmers of Gujarat during the current year.
    “The state government is concerned about farmers to provide them water, electricity, pure seeds and the best prices of the crops on time to make them more prosper and to increase the growth of agriculture economy of the state,” said CM Mr. Vijay Rupani. CM Rupani specially mentioned about the new direction in agriculture revolution among Saurashtra farmers through ‘SAUNI’ yojana.

    President of Gujarat region of Bhartiya Kisan Sangh Mr. Maganbhai Patel and Mr. Subhash Palekar handed over the zero budget booklets to Mr. Vijay Rupani. On the occasion, State Agriculture Minister Mr. Vallabhbhai Vaghasiya, Principal Secretary of Agriculture Department Mr. Sanjay Prasad, District Collector Mr. Satish Patel, DDO Mr. D P Desai, office-bearers of Bhartiya Kisan Sangh – Gujarat Region and more than 3000 farmers across the state were remained present.
