Ma Card and Ma Vaysalya Card holders to get free treatment of coronavirus up to Rs 5,000 per day for 10 days maximum Rs 50,000 till July 10, 2021
Gandhinagar, Wednesday: State Core Committee with Chief Minister Vijay Rupani in chair has decided to provide relief to over 80-lakh poor and middle-class families holding Ma Card and Ma Vatsalya Card for treatment of coronavirus in private hospitals.
It was decided that if any member of Ma Card and Vatsalya Card is infected with coronavirus will be entitled for free treatment in private hospitals up to Rs. 5,000 per day for maximum ten days amounting to Rs. 50,000.
In view of the prevailing situation due to coronavirus, this facility will be provided to such eligible family members till July 10, 2021.
Those present at the meeting included Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasma, Energy Minister Saurabh Patel, Minister of State for Home Pradeepsinh Jadeja, Chief Secretary Anil Mukim, Chief Minister’s Chief Principal Secretary K. Kailashnathan, Additional Chief Secretaries Pankaj Kumar, Rajiv Kumar Gupta and M. K. Das, Principal Health Secretary Jayanti Ravi and other senior secretaries.
