Deputy CM of Andijan region of Uzbekistan, Mr. H S Pulatovich pays courtesy visit to CM Mr. Vijaybhai Rupani

Mr. Habibullaev Salombek Pulatovich, Deputy Chief Minister of Andijan region of Uzbekistan, paid a courtesy visit to Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Vijaybhai Rupani at his office in Gandhinagar, today.

Expressing keen interest to strengthen the relationship between Uzbekistan and Gujarat through cooperation in industry – commerce, Mr. Pulatovich categorically stated that Gujarat’s pharmaceutical industry has vast opportunities to invest in Uzbekistan. Uzbekistan has set up a pharmaceutical zone with tax benefits. Not only this, Uzbekistan is leading in fields such as natural gas, minerals, and others; the greater advantage of these could be taken by the investors and industrialists from Gujarat.

Mr. Rupani had invited a high-level delegation from Uzbekistan to participate in the forthcoming ‘Vibrant Summit – 2019, which was instantly accepted by Mr. Pulatovich and also assured that to join the vibrant summit. In response, Mr. Pulatovich had invited Mr. Rupani to visit Uzbekistan.

The meeting was also graced by Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Mr. Manoj Kumar Das, Industries Commissioner Mrs. Mamta Verma and others.
