Dr. Tejas Patel performs Worlds first Telerobotic Coronary Surgery in presences of Guj CM

Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani watched the world’s first tele-robotic coronary intervention surgery by Dr. Tejas Patel through Internet command from Akshardham here today on a woman patient 32-km away.

Mr. Rupani described the feat as historic sure to serve the humanity and particularly the last man in the last mile – a matter of proud for Gandhinagar and 6.50-crore Gujaratis. He complimented Dr. Patel and his team. He said that Gujarat Government would consider seeking Dr. Patel’s expertise for the needy.

The Chief Minister described Akshardham in Gandhinagar as a meeting point of religion and science, science helping religion guide man to the path of truth.
