Former Secretary General of U.N pays a courtesy visit to CM
Former Secretary General of United Nations Mr. Ban Ki- Moon and former Prime Minister of Norway Mr. Gro Harlem Brundtland paid a courtesy visit to Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Rupani today.
On behalf of The Elders Group that was started by Mr. Nelson Mandela 11 years ago , these leaders are on a visit to Gujarat in order to understand the projects and schemes of the state government in the health sector and get a firsthand knowledge about its implementation. They appreciated the efforts of the state government in ensuring top class health services to poor families.
Mr. Ban Ki-Moon and Mr. Brundtland visited the Health and Wellness Centre as well.
Chief Principal Secretary to CM Mr. K. Kailashnathan, Principal Secretary to CM Mr. M.K Das, Health Commissioner Mrs. Jayanti Ravi and Mr. Gaurav Dahiya were present during the interaction.
