CM invites German Ambassador to join the upcoming Vibrant Summit as Partner Country

Gandhinagar, Tuesday: German Ambassador Mr. Walter Lindner and the Consul General of Germany in Mumbai Mr. Jurgen Morhard paid courtesy visit to Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Bhupendra Patel here in Gandhinagar today.
Expressing keenness to develop cultural and trade relations with Gujarat, the German Ambassador said, as a result of the best administrative systems and business friendly environment in Gujarat, more than 10 German companies are operational here. Efficient governance of the state is the main reason for the attitude of German companies-industries to develop business in Ahmedabad-Gujarat instead of places like Pune, Hyderabad, Bengaluru.
Mr. Patel said that state government will provide cooperation and help to German industries operating in Gujarat. Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi has given us the mantra of “Collective efforts, Inclusive Growth” Gujarat and Germany can work together and can form landmarks.
The CM also invited the German Ambassador to visit the world’s tallest statue of Sardar Patel, the Statue of Unity. He added that a visit to the Statue of Unity would give him a first-hand look at the prime minister’s vision for a world tourist destination, even in a tribal area like Kevadia.
Mr. Patel also discussed to focus on the possibility of participation of German industry companies and training institutes for skill development of youth in Gujarat.
The Consul General of Germany in Mumbai said that Indo-German Tool Room is functioning in Ahmedabad and vocational training can be provided to get the appropriate skilled manpower.
Mr. Patel also extended an invitation to German Ambassador to join the upcoming Vibrant Summit to be held in January 2022 as a partner country. He presented a replica of the Statue of Unity to the German Ambassador.
Chief Principal Secretary to the CM Mr. K. Kailashnathan, Additional Chief Secretary of Industry Department Dr. Rajiv Kumar Gupta, Industries Commissioner Mr. Rahul Gupta and MD of iNDEXTb Neelam Rani remained present.
