Gandhinagar, Thursday: Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel addressing the ‘Sparsh Mahotsav’ organized in Ahmedabad said that, it is a matter of immense pride for me to be present at Sparsh Mohotsav organized on the occasion of the 400th book release of Padma Bhushan Acharyashri Vijayaratna Sunder Surishwarji Maharaj. While the nation is celebrating 75 years of Independence under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Maharaj Sahib’s books will be useful to make this time truly immortal.
As we all are moving towards materialism, Acharya Shri Vijayaratna Sundar Surishwar Maharaj Sahib’s books will be very useful for how to make good use of materiality.
It is worth to mention here that, Sparsh Mohotsav will be held till January 22 at GMDC ground in Ahmedabad. Thousands of visitors will visit here to get the benefit of the wisdom of Acharya Vijayaratna Sundar Surishwarji, who has made a mark in the society through 400 books and lectures so far. Also, many socio-spiritual activities will be organized here every day. Under this initiative, a grant of Rs 5 crore has been given to around 250 gaushalas across the country.
Appreciating the spirit of service in Sparsh Mohotsav, the Chief Minister added that the touch of the soul is very necessary for doing good deeds and religious works to move forward in life. He expressed the hope that the entire government would get the blessings of saints (Sadhu Bhagwant) in Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s efforts to bring the lastmen of the state into the mainstream.
Union Minister of Roads and Transport addressing on the occasion said that, work are being carried out to civilize the society with the combination of ancient tradition and modern technology. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the goal is to create a self-reliant India and a 5 trillion economy. Culture and vision are necessary for society and nation building. Which happens through such Sparsh Mahotsav.
India has a tradition of festivals since ancient times with the aim of providing a new vision of living to the society. Today festivals are doing social building work by combining ancient tradition and modern technology which deserves appreciation. Referring to a Sanskrit proverb, he said, you can donate eyes to someone but not vision. The foresight of building society is found only through spirituality.
It is worth to mention here that, the 400th book of Padma Bhushan Acharya Sri Vijayaratna Sunder Sooriswarji is going to be released after a grand sobhayatra. MLA of Ellisbridge area Shri Amit Bhai Shah and other invited guests as well as Jain followers were present on the occasion.
